Guiding, Equipping and Unifying Women Through Midlife and the Aging Process.
We believe in the power of education, connection and shared wisdom. Our mission is to merge traditional science with the real-life experiences of women to develop modernized frameworks, share insightful articles and provide continuous resources that guide women through personal evolution, while creating a supportive community that unveils and amplifies our shared experiences.
This movement is about more than just navigating the challenges that come with aging—it’s about becoming fervently aligned with who we are, celebrating our shared humanity and transforming the way women approach aging.
❋ Merging psychological science with real women's stories. We are constantly gathering the real-life experiences of women through our surveys and personal interviews to conduct effectual research, modernize traditional psychological models, amplify shared experiences and reflect the community we serve in our articles and resources. This collaborative approach ensures that our work is not just theoretical—it’s practical and relevant to our lives.
❋ Developing comprehensive frameworks and actionable strategies. Our Second Becoming Framework, developed by Dr. Amy Casey, is our roadmap to navigating the challenges of aging. Designed like Kübler-Ross’s Five Stages of Grief, it guides women to understand, reckon with and evolve through life’s changes—from empty nesting to retirement to caretaking for parents and everything in between.
❋ Reframing the way we approach aging. When it comes to the questions we ask ourselves but rarely say out loud, we know how much better we feel when we connect with others and share our experiences. Creating a space to amplify each individual voice, form connections and demystify the emotions of getting older are our top priorities as we foster a supportive, collaborative community.
❋ Building a supportive community. We’re done with the cultural narratives around midlife and aging—especially when it comes to the isolation, shame, guilt and secrecy women often feel through this shared human experience. We are paving the way for women and future generations to approach aging as a deeply social, normal, transformational journey that does not signify a decline, but rather a profound awakening.
